The Three Metamorphoses / 精神三变

A responsive field of burden, rupture, and becoming.

The Three Metamorphoses is an interactive web field that translates Nietzsche's camel, lion, and child into perceptual forces rather than fixed symbols.

Mouse movement writes memory through traces. Bodily presence sensed through the camera introduces breath, disturbance, and rupture. Stillness allows residues to accumulate, diffuse, and fade.

《精神三变》是一个互动网页场域。作品不将骆驼、狮子与孩童作为具象符号呈现，而是将它们转译为三种感知力量：负重、冲破与生成。

鼠标移动留下记忆般的痕迹，摄像头感应身体在场并引入呼吸与扰动，静止则让残留在时间中沉积、扩散和消散。

Project Note

This work does not function as a test, a stage-selection system, or an explanation of Nietzsche. It uses the idea of metamorphosis as a method of self-translation, turning responsibility, resistance, and becoming into a field that can be entered and disturbed.

The viewer is not asked to understand the three stages directly. Instead, burden, rupture, and becoming coexist as forces inside the field, reflecting back through traces, density, breath, and residue.

作品并不判断观看者处于哪一个阶段，也不提供结果。相反，它将负重、冲破与生成作为三种共存的力量融入场域中。观众通过移动、停留与身体在场，使这些力量以痕迹、密度、呼吸、扰动和残留的方式显现。
